It took a few hours to break them in but they are very comfortable once broken in.
By politicat from Dearborn, MI on 02/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Climate, Hiking Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The leather feels wonderful, and the boots are very well made. They have the best traction on pure ice that I've had in any boot. I don't hunt, but these suit me just find making my way around the city in the ice and snow.
By "E" from North West Pacific Mountains on 01/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Cold Climate, Dark Conditions Describe Yourself: Beginner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not a hunter but I am an avid hiker and long dist. runner. These boots are wonderful! They will seem snug when you first put them on but walk around the home a few paces and they break in quickly and comfortably. A perfect fit for wide feet, high arch, high instep. Feet were dry and warm after hiking in snow in sub zero temps.

By Tracy from Benton Harbor, Michigan on 12/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Climate, Outside Work Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these boots. I work outside year round in Michigan and have had boots with 900 miligrams of thisulate and a size larger for "layering". I bought my normal size, invested in breathable socks and my feet stay warm. One drawback, feet tend to sweat if you are indoors or driving in the car. Sweaty feet become cold feet when you get outside, so I take my boots off for a couple minutes prior to going outside, and problem solved.
Very comfortable. Very warm.
Felt small initally. But no problem with wear.
By Katherine from Minnesota on 12/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a women's 7.5 and the 8 worked out great! I wore these pheasant hunting in central Minnesota last weekend (with a 7 degree temperature and -8 wind chill). With a pair of wool socks, my feet were fairly warm. I know these boots are not rated to temperatures that low, but I was curious. Perhaps the best aspect is the comfort of the boots. After two hours of over the knee snow drifts and rough cover, I was blister free! Not to mention it was the first time wearing the boots. Definitely the quality product one would expect from Browning.
By Tess's friend from Quincy, WA on 12/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Beginner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like these boots. My normal size is big enough I can wear a nice sock in them and be comfortable. They were a little tight on my ankles the first few times I wore them, but they just needed a little breaking in, so they are much better now. They look nice, but serve their purpose very well. I would buy them again.
By B.W. from Milwaukee, WI on 12/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Could run small try them Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Cold Climate, Snowblowing in Wisconsin Describe Yourself: Beginner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These Browning boots are great! I want to say first, if they feel too small, wear them around the house and give them a try before you send back. I ordered some men's Browning boots for myself and they were too small (size 8, I wear a 9.5-10 women's) so I gave them to my husband as he needed a good pair and has "mini man feet" as I call them. Anyway, then I saw these for women online and ordered size 10. When I first put them on, they were snug and I thought I had to send back. I put on regular socks, not the tube-type white ones I had on, and they were better. Then, I walked around the house for awhile and they were fine. You can wear regular socks with these as they are insulated and waterproof. I really like these! They are great for deep snow like we are getting in Wisconsin right now and look nice with some boot-cut jeans. I can wear around town or to school or "out" and not look like I just came back from hunting, which I don't actually do. My husband wore his man's version and loved them as well. I had a pair of Browning boots from 15 years ago that I had to get rid of as the rubber finally went. I was willing to resole but they were not that type. I do believe that if you would need to, these you could, a plus as the leather will most likely last a long time. Love these boots, you will too! Price was awesome for this brand and quality.
By horsedoc from SC on 12/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Climate, Wet weather Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wear them to work outside in the cold. I'm on my feet a lot and these are very comfortable and give great support. They felt broken in within the first few hours I wore them. Cold feet are a thing ofthe past for me!
Great Price for Great Boots! By Topshelf from Napa,CA on 12/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Great quality, light weight, Little break in time, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Cold Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my 10 year old son. He appreciates the warmth of the 200 gr insulation and how light the boots are. After walking the field for 2 hours, he is tired, but his feet aren't!
