By Smoke from Hampton, VA on 04/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Cons: STIFF ON CROWN OF FOOT Best Uses: Long Rides, Protection, Street Riding Motorsports: Motorcycle Enthusiast Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great buy and good looking boot. Stiff on the crown (top) of foot but breaking in slowly. Could reshape or add more padding on top inside for ease on foot. Overall, I'm very please with the boot and would buy another pair.

By Riding HD from Heathsville, Va on 04/23/2009 Pros: Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Stylish, Tough Best Uses: Long Rides, Protection, Street Riding Motorsports: Competitive Rider, Mechanic, Motorcycle Enthusiast Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boot great price. These boots fit right out of the box and offer great protection. They did require a couple of days to break in but that should be expected. Good product.
By asdf from wi on 04/17/2009 Motorsports: Motorcycle Enthusiast Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Run a bit long and narrow for size. Do have a low heel also. If that is ok, this is a very nice boot once conditioned and broken-in.
Nice boot for someone with long feet By Celtic from Central NY on 04/08/2009 Pros: Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Lightweight, Tough Best Uses: Long Rides, Street Riding Motorsports: Casual Rider, Motorcycle Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ride a bike with mid-pegs, so the bulkiness probably wouldn't affect those with forwards.
I bought the size I normally do in laceup boots. I have a slightly wide foot but with laceups I still buy a D(Medium) width. This boot fits width-wise. It's a tag snug in the width, but that's to be expected with my slightly wide feet. I would say the boot is true to width.
I could barely get the boots on my foot when I first got them; the opening even with the zipper was difficult. I have high arches (high instep) so that plays into it...I sometimes have a problem with engineer boots so that's why I thought a boot with a zipper would work better. After a few times it got easier to put them on.
The biggest problem I have is that I think the boot is too long in the toe. It's not snug on my heel and I think there's 1.5-2 inches of space in front of my toe. But I feared if I got a smaller size I wouldn't be able to get my foot into the hole with my high instep...So I'll make do. They will stay put on my foot better than my engineer boots, which is what I wanted, so..
The zippers leak if you're in a downpour of rain on the bike. I know this won't matter to some, especially in the dryer climates, but I thought I'd mention it. These are not advertised as waterproof, but my engineer boots take longer to soak through because they don't have zippers.
They are really comfortable to walk in, the insoles are padded pretty well and they don't hurt like some other boots I've had.
Bottom line: Yes I would recommend to a friend, but I would make sure they didn't have wide feet and tell them to order a half size down. If they did order a half size down and had wide feet, I don't know if they'd fit.
I know this review sounds pretty negative, but I like the boots...I just wish they fit a bit better.
fairly nice pull on boots.....
