By suzanne from Boulder CO on 08/17/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Going by the guidelines to order a 1/2 size bigger, I did. I usually wear either a 7 1/2 medium or an 8 narrow in a flat. The 8 hit me right at the end of my toes, but the heel slipped too much. I debated whether to return them for the 7 1/2, but then decided just to return them because I didn't really need them.
At any rate, if you wear a narrow shoe, don't order 1/2 size up. Try your normal size and see if that will work for you.
Also, if you have worn Topsiders before and are used to being able to narrow the shoe by tightening the laces, I don't think it will work with this shoe. The leather laces do run around the top of the shoe, but they are relatively lightweight, so I don't think you can pull on them much.

By dd from Los Angeles, CA on 08/11/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I also returned these due to misleading advice to size up. My other Sperrys fit great but these were too long and too wide. They looked cute but reordering is a hassle. Try them on first!
