Great Layering Piece for Running
By AZRunner from Phoenix, AZ - Yes, 5:30am is cold here. on 11/09/2009
Pros:
Great Color, Washes Well
Cons:
Short in the torso
Best Uses:
Cold Weather Exercise
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Shopper, Casual, Runner
Length:
Feels too short
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels too long
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The shirt is a little short in the belly, and the sleeves are a little long (better to cover your hands when running in the cold, my dear); however, I think it is a great layering piece. This is the second one I have purchased over the years. It is very slim cut, and I would not recommend wearing it by itself as it leaves little to the imagination. As I said, it is a great layering piece; great for running on cold, cold mornings. Previous reviewers have mentioned the tight neck. It does muss your hair to get over your head, but I think it is just a slim fit (better to keep your neck warm, my dear). Also, I would definitely not use fabric softner with this piece, and I would definitely hang dry to preserve it longer....Happy Wearing!

Comments:
I bought this since I already have the same shirt, It was not even close to the ones I have, the neck is too tight, the cuffs are narrow, and the material is not as soft. Same product number but not the same quality

The mock turtle neck is a great layering piece. However, the mock neck should not be so tight. In addition, this product is not sized correctly. My XL fit like a small or medium.

Comments:
This would have been a very nice base layer top if the neck wasn't so snug. The material is top quality but didn't think the neck would loosen up with wear. Overall this is a close fitting top as it should be. Sent it back because of the neck issue.

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a great layer for spring running in Minnesota! I've worn another short-sleeve layer for insulation with temps in the 30s, but it would be great as a base layer in colder weather or by itself into the 40s. The mock turtleneck is snug but comfortable.

Believe everyone else...this shirt runs small. After I exchanged it for the XL, it's better, but still small in the chest. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with a C-cup or larger chest!

It was more snug than I expected and material very thin. However, still really like this shirt. I wore it all weekend for added warmth inside and outside as it is super comfortable. Length is good and it covers my belly.
