I darkend mine with brown shoe polish to better match belts that I wear.
Smart looking and well made.
By Zedekiah Freeman from Fort Worth, TX on 07/01/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Looks Great Cons: Size seemed narrow, Too Stiff Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these shoes, though not as well as the Geox walking shoes I was replacing. They seemed narrow for my foot (I usually get 11-Ds), and a bit long, so maybe someone with long, narrow feet would find them better for size. But it's not bad, and they've loosened up enough with wearing them that they no longer feel too tight. But they still feel a bit too long. The color they were available in ("Carmelite") is bit more orange than brown, and that might not suit every occasion.
But on the whole, I thought they were a bargain and quite good enough for most of my needs. My old Geox shoes lasted at least five years, and would still be wearable if I have them re-soled. No sense of this shoe's performance over time, or in cold or wet weather, since I've only had them one month. At this point I can say that if I had to do a lot of walking, I would trust them for that.
I'm clicking "yes" for my bottom line answer, because while not perfect, they're pretty darn good and worth a look at. A more accurate answer would be "yes, with qualification."

S. Trask shoes and they are absolutely terrific. This pair is just as great as the others -- comfortable, practical, durable and attractively styled. Perfect for wear on rainy or snowy days

I really like the way they look, and others do to, as I've had a few compliments on them! I am surprised as I have never had any compliments on my Sutor Mantellassi's that I wear!!
By Jon from Utica on 02/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Perfect, Stable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a finish carpenter and am on my feet ALL day. Sometimes the workboots are just too heavy. I bought a second pair of these after receiving the first. These are exactly what I needed.

They are comfortable, stylish in a casual way, and very durable. I am tempted to buy a second pair so that I will have a replacement if this pair ever wears out.

By Col. Kurtz from Madison, MS on 12/01/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stable, stylish Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice shoes that required very little break in. Dresses up with khakis or dresses down with jeans. Rugged sole and very comfortable. The carmelite color scuffs a bit but the scuffs can be buffed out with towel or shoe brush. The other colors probably do not scuff as easily. Buy these and you won't be sorry.
By Chas from Buffalo, N.Y. on 11/24/2008 Pros: Durable, Looks Great, Stable Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: A great looking shoe and product, but believe they are a full size too big which compromises comfort. Heels slip. Generous toe area. Be careful with size selection. Suggest Sierra models revisit as this product might require a size "down" notation.
