They’re easy to wear right out of the box and have gotten progressively better with only a couple wearings.
They’re really well made too, like other Trask shoes – everything about this boot is quality from the Vibram soles to the soft leather lining to the heavy leather upper.
Terrific, especially at the price.

They are extremely comfortable, beautifully made and a tremendous value at this price. But then they are made by Trask and brought to us STPC!

Another fine Chukka from Trask By Mtn Bob from SoCal on 11/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Casual work days, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Traditionalist Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am pleased to see fine craftsmanship continuing with these Trasks Chukkas made in China. I have Trasks made in the US, Brazil, and Italy, and these stand very well in comparison.
The stitching and seams are immaculate, as are the leather edge cuts and finish. There are no pressure points in the toe box, nor around the tongue junctions. My 'best fit' is usually a 10.5 EE, but these are fine in 11 D. Just a little bit more wiggle room at the toes, which is fine. These have a superior insole insert, BTW, though that of course is something the user can change to preference. The yellow grade Vibram sole will last longer than the soles on the Brazill made Trask chukkas, which have an Airsoft type sole. Won't matter much either way for me, with the intended casual usage.
These are favorite 'knocking-around-in' casual footwear for me in the cooler months. I prefer them to both my leather- and Vibram- soled Alden 405s (Indys); these are more comfortable.

They feel extremely confortable right out of the box. I have worn Clark footwear and Ecco footwear and these boots and another pair of H.S. Trask shoes I bought earlier in the year are easily the most comfortable i've owned. With the discount from Sierra Trading Post, it's the best value out there.
