By Scuba Steve from Seattle on 09/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very narrow width and base, I'm a bit worried about ankle sprains. They are rather stiff at first but are breaking in,(3rd day). Overall I think these are well make and with quality material, just be aware that you need a narrow foot(which I have).

By Uncle Speed from San Jose, CA on 09/16/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have only tried these on and they felt fine. I'll be using them on multiple hikes in New Zealand pretty soon, but have not put them to the test yet. All I can say at this point is that the 13 fit how it should and the look was better than expected for something that was bought for function. So far so good.

My only footwear were these and they were extremely comfortable, durable and held up remarkably well. I have previously had 4 pairs of Columbia Trail meister which were ok but every pair had stitching that came apart. I had no such problem with these.
