Nice Shoe, But Runs Very Large By Jewel from Livermore on 08/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Cons: sizing is a little off Best Uses: Backcountry, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nicely made shoe with good looks. I returned it because it was at least one size too big, and maybe more. I would recommend it to a friend only if the sizing was more accurate. Listing additional measures would be helpful. I wear a 40 and that is usually equivalent to a 9.5 to 10 in US sizing. This 9.5 said it was a 42 when it arrived - but did not state this in the online description. Again, very nice shoe, but way too big.
Asolo makes another great shoe By Julia runs-with-dog from East Lansing, MI on 01/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these to run in the woods with my dog every morning - even with several inches of snow, they work great paired with a snowpant shell. Provide good stability, but are a bit too firm for an everyday trainer or longer runs - great for hiking. Comfortable around town, and the gusseted tongue keeps snow and muck out. Better traction with these than my hiking boots! Asolo is usually a good fir for me - plenty of toe box room, but perfectly snug in the heel.
