Warm and comfortable boots! By Crowngal from San Diego, CA on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these boots to use for snowshoeing in Vail and Beaver Creek. The fit was good and comfortable, and they worked well with the shoeshoes as well as walking around town. The gators were useful in keeping snow from getting inside the boots. I would recommend these boots!
By UP Snowshoer from Upper Peninsula on 10/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots fit very well, are lightweight and comfortable, but it's only October and the real test hasn't begun. They seem to be all they're advertised, but we'll see.
The only downside so far is the velcro ankle wrap/gaiter feature: it's not quite roomy enough for anyone with muscular calves or thick socks.
