Natural Grip great feature By Coach from Portage Wisconsin on 01/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Windproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Ski Instructor, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use daily for ski instructing. After break in period the gloves were warmer and stood up to below zero sking usage. Very durable and comfortable.
By JoeT from Washington, D.C. on 01/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great gloves for skiing. I finally had a chance to use these over the weekend (in 30F weather) and they work out great. I purchased the Manzella inserts too from STP but didn't them.
By Part-time skier, full-time dad from Kansas on 12/23/2008 Pros: Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs small and the cold works its way through very quickly. With a glove this heavy, I expected more. The description of the glove should indicate that this falls into the 'warmer' category for the manufacturer, of the 'warm, warmer, and warmest' categories. I'm sure it's great if you're skiing at 30 degrees, but if colder, it could be a rough day.
Warm gloves, good seal, nice padding By Tomas el Toro from Boston, MA on 12/22/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Driving, Hiking/Running, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are hardcore ski gloves that serve you in just about any other winter endeavor. These are the warmest things I have ever put on my hands, even including mittens. The padding cushions the knuckles in glade skiing. My fine manipulation through the finger tips can even look at text messages or drive a car... not at the same time.
By Mark from Salina, Kansas on 12/16/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The size most definitely runs small. I purchased a large and it fit like a latex glove. Even the XL is a bit snug. If you are a big person with big hands, it would serve you better to look at another glove.
By TC from Manchester, NH on 11/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Snug Fit Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Gear Usage: Racing, Ski school, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the price, looks and function.
Are they warm? I couldn't say because it hasn't been cold. They don't feel like they have a lot of insulation but to date they have been fine (I have great circulation and don't get cold hands).
The padding probably isn't heavy enough to realy take on daily gate bashing but good for daily protection. Only had them on the hill 3 days. If I am disapointed in durability I will re-review.
By John, the critic from Ukiah, Ca. on 11/28/2008 Pros: Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have large hands but not as large as men who are bigger than me. I got the largest you sell, extra large. They still feel a little too small.
Because they are a little too small, they are not as warm as expected.
