Did some walking in them today and they felt great. No breakin period, just comfort out of the box. They appear very well constructed. I guess time will tell, but if you are pondering of pair of these you likely won't be dissapointed. There is an added, optional insert that raises the heel, but it seems worthless and makes them feel too tight.
