Runs true to size. Warm enough. Hard to really tell since it hasn't been that cold but breathed well on warmer days. Hiked in them right out of the box. No blisters. Great boot for the price!

By Chasletsum from Monclova, OH on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 11 and ordered my size - these fit perfectly, even with a heavy sock. This was the first time during the entire winter that I went outside and my feet were warm and dry. The boots are lightweight, but extremely warm. They are easy to slip in and out of. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a good pair of waterproof winter boots. Especially if you sign up for the email offers and get an even better discount off of the already reasonable price.
By MegaBigEye from Cambridge, MA on 01/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Slightly Narrow, Unattractive Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I waded for half an hour through 4 inches of slush and icy water on my way home from work today, and thanks to the Asolo Masters my feet were 100% dry and warm when I got home. They're no worse than any other boot on the ice, but they do clog with damp snow kind of easily (although on wet pavement they have great traction). My only real complaints are that they're not fashionable and they feel like they're about a half size too narrow. Perfect for slushy urban walking.
By Walker from Princeton, NJ on 01/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 pair for my son in 2 sizes. He tried on the 1st pair and would not take them off, they were too wonderful on the feet. I was going to return the other pair (as planned), but a friend at work tried them on and fell in love with them. He is keeping them. We have not tried them in real cold or wet, so I can make no claims there. Just that they are very comfortable.
By wh from Chicago on 01/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First winter in Chicago and these have been great for walking my dog along the lake -- even at 10 degrees or less and with 2x the average snowfall, my feet have been warm. It's been a while since I've owned a pair of light hiking boots, but it's hard for me to imagine much better. They are light, excellent ankle support, good traction, and comfortable.
If there's a drawback, it's that they're not the quickest in and out, but they're lace ups and ankle height so your compensation is great ankle support.
A little small in the sizing By Bob the Snowshoer from Berkeley, CA on 01/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to send this product back because the sizing was too small. I normally wear 81/2 and ordered a 9. The 9's fit was too snug even with thin socks.
