Great fit for narrow feet
By savvyshoppingwife from Morton Grove, IL on 11/03/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This was the third pair of snow boots we tried for my husband, who has a very narrow foot and heel. We found that womens boots generally run narrower than mens, and this was the perfect fit for him! No heel slipping, warm and waterproof, he loves wearing them for his daily commute which includes 4 miles of walking.

Not for rough terrain
By Maine backpacker from Portland, ME on 10/26/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
Difficult Entry & Exit, Wore out quickly
Best Uses:
Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought these boots for a fall backpacking trip where I needed to cross snow fields. I liked that they had excellent traction on snow, and they were very lightweight and waterproof. But after only one week of hiking in rocky terrain, both boots had holes in them. Maybe they would last longer if you only use them in the snow, but I would have expected better from Asolo. Unlike others, I found that these boots ran about 1/2 to 1 size large.

Slim and trim, great support, warm but not too hot indoors. Runner sole kind of weird looking for a hiking boot but great for urban adventures.

True to size. Not clunky, very light and fit snugly around ankle area-good support. Take a little effort to get on and off sometimes. Very happy with warmth and waterproof qualities.

These boots were a little stiff the first day, but feel great now. They fit true to size and have enough room for thick socks if you like them. The lining is great and I love how light they are. These are not another clunky pair of hiking boots! I just wish I could have found more than one color in my size.

Excellent boot in both snow and ice. Found that I did not even have to use ice grips on them when walking in ice packed snow.

It is difficult for me to find boots that fit - the front of my foot is wide, but my heels are narrow and i have a high instep - I can wear these with socks and be comfortable, without a breaking in period.
