By sxg from Davenport, IA on 01/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Well Made Best Uses: Cool Nights, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read other people's comments before ordering, and am glad I did. I would normally have ordered XL, but went for the L and it's perfect. Item runs large. I'm very happy with it.
By Eric the phoneman from Murrieta, CA on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Not Too Heavy, Soft, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, Everyday use, Lounging, Pool & Spa Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My wife loves this robe. It is conservative enough that she does not worry about seeing the neighbors while getting the paper. The light weight is perfect for southern California. The sleeves are about a 10 inches too long but they look fine folded back like a cuff
By Sandy, slp from Orland Park, IL on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Warm & Cozy, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights, Lounging Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would never have chosen this robe from the picture, because it looked "stylelesss"! But, my daughter (Nordstrom employee) spotted it and chose it for her older sister. I bought two, one for each daughter. Once they 'tried on', they wore all xmas morning. I was so impressed with 'how it looked', and along with comments from the girls about it's comfort, warmth, softness, that I came home and purchased one for myself. I absolutely love it and was so fooled........it "looks" stylish, has that hotel like 'look' that's even softer than the terrycloth. My daughter's room mate saw it and wanted one, so now I'm ordering my fourth robe for her. I love that it is loosely cut so that it is doesn't look binding. I love the fabric, another surprise. Looks so 'top end'. Thanks Sierra! It's now known at our house as
"THE ROOOOOBE"!
By Catsgalore from Corpus Christi, Texas on 12/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Quick drying, Soft, Thick, Warm & Cozy, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, Pool & Spa Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: XL robe was big for me and I wear a 26 and border on petite. However, I felt immediately warm and dry in this robe after getting out of a shower into an unheated bathroom. My skin dried in less than 5 minutes and I never got cold.
I only wish colors other than white had been available. Other than that this is a wonderful robe for the discounted price.
ORDER DOWN AT LEAST ONE SIZE! By WaterWaffle from MOntana on 10/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious, Soft, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this because of the reviews that said it ran large, just hoping for something that "covered my assets." Well. It's WONDERFUL, but honestly...I usually wear about a women's 20-22, so I bought the extra large, and it's still big. I never thought I'd hope a garment would shrink, but in this case it would be a good thing. I love the length...falls about mid=calf. However, it's soft, cozy, well-made and wicks moisture well, and I love it after a bath or shower.
By amstelly from SC on 08/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious, Soft, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really love this robe! I live in the steamy south and needed a lighter weight robe. This one is very comfy and light enough. My only slight complaint is that it fits really large. I normally wear a clothing size 6, so I ordered the small robe--but it is quite large and I had to roll the sleeves up several times (and I'm 5'8"!). But nevertheless, this is the best robe I've ever had!
Aquis sizes need to be the same By bath lady from Rochester, NY on 07/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Luxurious, Soft, Well Made Cons: Sized wrong ML was XL Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights, Lounging Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Aquis needs to regulate sizes for different products. I bought 3 robes. 2 for men/women(one size fits most), 1 for women. The biggest one was the woman's m/l, the other two were Aquis for men/women were smaller. So now I've got to give up the waffle robe for the microfiber terry. I wanted the waffle for summer after bath. Now I've got another winter robe.
By Northern Sis from Wisconsin on 06/24/2008 Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very oversized. Be sure to order a smaller seize than you usually wear.
By Northern gardener from WI on 06/18/2008 Best Uses: After Baths, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the XL and it was the largest piece of clothing I have ever seen. I exchanged it for the M/L and it is still too large. (I bought it for my daughter who wears a 12 or 14.) I've given up. She'll shorten the sleeves and make do.
By cabin from Maine on 06/18/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm returning this purchase. The writeup said it was light weight, it isn't. It is heavy and I was looking for something light and packable.
