Initially they hurt my feet but they have become one of my favorite shoes now that they have started to soften up. They are very cute/stylish.

After a couple of days of breaking in, they are comfortable enough to walk long distances. If you have a medium-wide foot, get the narrow. I intend to purchase a second pair of Birkenstocks from STP, soon.
