By Libby from Alexandria, VA on 04/03/2008 Best Uses: At home leisure Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although they run just a bit large, the cork soles are still a dream of comfort and support. The arch in these sandals is of the traditional Birkenstock type and quality and comfort. While I prefer a style with an additional strap over the instep which helps keep the shoes stable on slender feet like mine, others may like the loose fit of this style. The drawback to this sandal is that the leather straps are quite stiff and, at present, I can't wear them barefoot without chafing. However, with socks they are comfortable enough, though again somewhat loose in fit. This style would probably be best for a wide foot.
By Dogwalker Rosie from S.F. Bay Area, CA on 04/02/2008 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The non-leather straps were positioned too far forward, so I had to shuffle rather than walk . . and the bar under the toes hurt my feet. I took ten steps and put them in the return pile.

Slip-on sandals that STAY on By Wine-loving CPA from Minneapolis, MN on 03/31/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stays on foot, Stays put when dancing Describe Yourself: Classic, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These sandals are quick to slip on, yet they STAY on your foot as you travel down steps (without making a clop, clop, clop noise that some other slip-on sandals make). They are comfortable and look quite nice when paired with casual shorts, pants and skirts. And, like all Birkenstocks, they LAST.
