I own roughly 20 pairs of Birki's, and wear this brand often. Since I walk 4 or 5 miles a day, I feel as though I'm a good judge of how comfortable shoes are: these are extremely comfortable.

I purchased narrow in my size and they were too large. I exchanged a size down and they still feel about 1/2 a size too large but fit better in the width. Before you order, if you can go to a store and find out what your proper size is. That being said, even 1/2 a size too large is still very comfortable and supportive.

I know so many who have loved them. I was not sure because I usually need something a bit higher wedged for comfort and ease. To my surprise, they are very comfortable and I can walk easily.
