I didn't think of it and got a splash of water on one shoe that won't come out. All in all, great fit (I have size 10 wide feet) and relatively comfortable.

They also have great traction on snow/ice. I purchased the bronze/brown color and they match w/ everything! I get compliments on them all the time (and on all other J-41's I own).

They felt like they would come off of my heals and stiff. I find them completey comfortable now, and enjoy being out all day wearing these shoes.

I have only just received them today; they did give me 1 heel blister (hence 4 stars) which is due to the fairly high back on them, but when they soften I'm sure they will be fine. I have actually put in a pair of arch supports which I wear with many shoes and that will alleviate the heel rub as well as making them even more comfortable. I am sure I'll get heaps of wear out of these and will buy more J-41 in future.

I put stick-on heel pads to narrow the heels and they have been very comfortable since, with or without socks.
I can wear them to hike or to look cute going out at night. They are light and not clunky, but feel soft to walk in.
Every time I wear them, someone says "Wow, cute shoes!" (Even men.) I have plum, which is pretty eye-catching.
