I could barely get my bare foot into the shoe, which means no socks ever. They're so cute, I was really disappointed. I have to return them.

The instep area is snug and a shoehorn is helpful to slide into the shoe. I ordered 3 pair in different sizes and passed them around to my daughters and grandaughters to find someone for each pair. I ordered a half size larger for myself and perhaps should have ordered a full size larger. I wear them mostly around home or casual outings.

However, you must buy 1 1/2 sizes larger than you normally wear. It runs very small and narrow. I'm a medium width and you definitely can tell it's a ltl narrow. If you have a narrow foot your in luck with these shoes.

I normally wear size 6 and ordered size 8 as the site tells you to order 1 1/2 size larger. I added another 1/2 for looser fit for thick socks. Unfortunately, size 8 was too long even with thick socks. I had to return them.
