Amazing Fabric, Amazing fit. By Institutional Financial Markets.... from Chicago on 04/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Going Out, Office Meetings, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Watch David Letterman a couple nights. This suit looks like that kind of quality - except I am sure Letterman is paying $10,000+ for his. I own about a dozen Isaia sport coats and 8 Isaia suits. Most of them were purchased on this site. The fabric on this suit is a bit heavier - so it will be mostly a 3 season suit (in Chicago). Isaia cuts their suits a bit more thin in the waist (on the suits) and legs (on the pants) - which is nice since I am a marathoner and on the thin side (32 waist). Most suits that fit in the shoulders and chest are just way too big to take in in the waist on the suits and the pants. Not so w/ Isaia. This particular fabric is brilliant for business. You'll look like a CEO. But, w/ that understated hint of style in the cut and tailoring of Isaia suits (especially the shoulders), this suit can be worn w/ an open collar and tan shoes/belt (yes - it looks great w/ the gray pinstripe fabric - trust me) to brilliant effect for a very smart casual look. Isaia is very true to size - do not buy a size bigger if you do not see your size and try to "tailor down" - it will not look right in the body b/c of the way they cut the canvas lining. If they have your exact size - it will look incredible w/ the right minor alterations. I also recommend working button holes - but only if you find a tailor w/ a button-hole machine. If they tell you they can do it by hand - walk away; they are not true fine men's suits tailors.....
