Cut quite generously, as noted by others.
By Lawn-Monkey from Seattle, Wa on 07/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shirts will only fit you if you are box shape (large waste and rear) If you are lean and trim you will have way more shirt than you know what to do with. These Shrits are for a waist size of 46 or larger regarldes the size of shirt. The only thing that changes sizewize is the sleve lenght/width.
Good shirt. Order 1 or 2 sizes down. By Ian from Portland on 03/22/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Runs large Best Uses: Camping, Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fabric is very durable, but stiff and uncomfortable out of the box. Don't buy this as a 'night on the town' shirt. It's meant for heavy duty outdoor use. It also runs large. I ordered a M and had to return it for a S. It's still a tad big. It may run large as arborists need a large range of motion. Overall, this is a good shirt for working outdoors.
Great but oversized shirt By Homer from Hayward, CA on 02/04/2009 Best Uses: Camping, Hiking, Work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great shirt but is 2 sizes larger than marked on the shirt. A size "small" is actually a size "large".
By RC from Silver City, NM on 12/17/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Work Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this as a work shirt, and it's great, it'll even turn mesquite thorns. One thing to note is that the Arborwear guys don't stonewash or otherwise soften the fabric. This means that the fabric is pretty rough and stiff for a while. You'll need an undershirt. But the up side is that this shirt will last forever.
