All around great pair of shades! By McD from Jacksonville, FL on 07/23/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Good Protection Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was concerned buying these glasses without trying them on, but they fit great right out of the box. Only a minor adjustment to the temples was needed. Although the literature says poly-carbonate, the lens as so substantial they appear to be glass. Overall, I'm impressed with getting such a high quality pair of sunglasses at this price.

These well designed Serengeti Vedi Sedona glasses offer excellent side vision and superior comfort. Polarization is the best I have seen.

By PicklesandBones from Grand Rapids, MI on 02/20/2009 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Polarization, Photochromic, Quality design, Sticky nose piece Best Uses: At The Beach, Boating, Casual Wear, Driving, Recreational kayaking, Special Occasions, Travel Describe Yourself: Active, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had Serengeti sunglasses for many years. They have never disappointed...except for the H2O series. I use the Vedi primarily for driving and everyday use, but they would be good for day hikes, recreational and touring kayaking, and traveling. The photochromic lens with the polarization is good, and the tint makes them great for most occasions. Serengeti has other technological features in the lens to make even cloudy, overcast and rainy days seem more clear. If you are looking for dark sunglasses for car use, then this might not be for you, the photochromic properties change according to UV rays, which don't make it inside the car. However, they are dark enough for driving and they are great outside. The measurements suggest the glasses are smaller than they are, but the spring hinge and weight of the glasses make them feel bigger on the face, however, they look appropriate. The lens feels and looks like glass, not poly. They are a keeper. GO TO THE SERENGETI SITE AND DO THE RESEARCH.
By JetMacJoe from Santa Cruz on 12/09/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Polarization, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Cons: Unattractive Design, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were the only photochromic and polarized shades I could find with a lens color that works well for me. I am slightly color deficient so most of the green, brown or amber lens turn everything flat for me.The color also is great for going in and out of shadows and sunlight frequently. Wish I could get these lens in a sport or nylon frame as these frames just won't stay on for anything more than driving. I can't bend over to tie my shoe with out them falling off.

I love the color of these lens. My favorite pair of shades to wear and I have many.
By pammy from Elyria, Ohio on 11/21/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Durable, Good Polarization Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice glasses, except for two things: the lenses seem to be ground wrong...they make me slightly dizzy when I look from one thing to the next, and the ear pieces are too long. I will be returning them.

First time buying glasses online. By Lauren from Orange County, CA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Polarization Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the polarized lenses, and the tint, but it just doesn't fit my face. The frame curves too much and I have a hard time adjusting it to not touch my face.
