Exactly what I was looking for! By Bellawahaine from Sacramento, CA going to Anchorage,AK on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Moving to Alaska from Northern California and I was worried about having a comfortable boot that would keep my feet warm AND would be waterproof, but not weight a ton. This is the best boot I ever! Looks wide, and a bit like a moccasin shoe, but they are not meant for dress wear...they are meant for wet, snowing, cold conditions! Went ahead & bought another pair & got a pair for my daughter as well after walking around in mine for a couple of days. I love this boot!
By Wanda - The GREAT WHITE NORTH from Stony Plain, Alberta on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm and toasty, Waterproof to ankle Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Not for deep snowslush, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was worried about the fit because of comments I had read. They are true to size for a normal, maybe slightly wide foot. They look fat, but not
overly and are EXTREMELY COMFY, I could not believe it. The footbed to accomodate my orthotics is thick with foam and fur topping, they seem to be custom made for comfort and most likely will not need to put my orthotics in. If you do wear custom orthotics and take out the footbed, their is tons of room to accomodate them, if they are thin you might have to put a felt liner in the bottom to take up some space, and/or keep the bottom toasty. The straps to fasten are a real pain in the butt, way too much trouble to do and undo, they have short straps making not much room to loosen without coming off the ring. I have mine done loose and slip my foot in and out which works for me thank goodness or I was almost going to return them because of the frustration, but they are sooooo cute!I hope when I tighten them up and then loosen them they stay fastened!

Nothing like getting those ski boots off at the end of the day and slipping into comfortable, warm boots. I look forward to that soon. They are wide in appearance with the toe area very "ducklike" That was the only thing that surprised me in appearance [...]
