Well....they almost worked... By golfer3524 from San Bernardino, CA on 07/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Alternative golf shoe Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Since I intended to use these as an inexpensive golf shoe, I can't comment on their worth as a trail shoe. But the cleats were excellent in every phase of golf...sand, grass, greens and walking on concrete cart paths. The only esthetic issue would be the orange color...WOO-HOO! Kind of distracting when lining up over a putt. And if played in on early mornings with dew all over, your feet will get wet. Didn't quite work for me, but almost.
By golfer3524 from San Bernardino, CA on 07/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These I have been looking for! A golf shoe (perfect rubber grippers)that will hold my skinny foot in the heel and have a breathable forefoot. Who cares about "style" when there's this much comfort for walking 18? I was somewhat concerned when the ad stated "low volume toe box". My size 12N can sometimes be squished in this area. But not these. Since my use is not their intended design, a downhill run might prove different. So I won't be running downhill. Happy golfer!
By A Trail Runner from Redding, CA on 06/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Cons: Sole Wears Out Quickly, Too narrow Best Uses: Everyday, loose trails Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these shoes most for their great traction. Excellent for steep, rocky trails. They run a little narrow but feel light and comfortable otherwise. I bought a second pair.
