I work outside and wear these every day, they are very comfortable and don't absorb odor. Not too thick but warm enough to wear under jeans while working outside down to about 15 degrees.

By DogZilla from EastCoast on 01/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are just great; very well made. I bought both the top and bottom. They are uber-thin and very comfortable - can even be worn under jeans (or dressier clothes, if need be). I am considering buying another pair or two just to have them. They could not be thinner, but kept me surprisingly warm, but not too warm. If you are thinking of buying these and don't you'll be sorry....but then you'll never know.
