Great Quality, Wrong Size By bakpkr97 from Northern Wisconsin on 11/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Great Price Best Uses: Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Normally I wear an 8-10 on top thanks to very broad shoulders. According to STP, I went with the L (10-12) and it was huge! I returned for a M (6-8) and it fits perfectly! The bronze color is better than expected, more of a moss, very nice.
By Shannon from Seattle, WA on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is soon to be my favorite jacket! Looks great, feels great and withstands wind, water, and cold. A jacket that moves from trail to sidewalk with ease!
By Savvy Shopper from NYC on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Compressible, Good Weight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great lightweight, compressible jacket with a great warmth to weight ratio. Very warm for its weight. There doesn't seem to be a DWR finish so it doesn't shed rain real well though it does maintain its warmth when wet.
The fit is ok - a bit long in the torso and sleeves for me. I wish it was a bit more fitted to flatter the female form and as such is a bit boxy in its cut and drape. I felt the sleeves were a bit long and bunchy, thank goodness the wrists have adjustable velcro closures. It's a good all around casual jacket that I think will be useful for winter running.
By mountain-bound from St. Petersburg, Florida on 10/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Order the next size up if your chest is big. I'm usually a small but am glad I ordered the medium. Bronze is a nice color, a bit on the khaki-green spectrum. Nice neutral color. I was only disappointed that the armpit zippers are not in this jacket, as was stated in the list of features. It's very light and soft, and will pack down pretty small.
By Amanda from San Mateo, CA on 09/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the jacket after reading the reviews that said that the sleeves were long and the shoulders were broad. I have very broad shoulders from years of swimming so I thought this would be perfect. Boy was I wrong, the shoulders hung down my arms. In my entire life, I've never had this problem. I'm a size 8 who often has to wear larges due to my shoulders.
By Cashew from Boston on 09/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is VERY warm, as are all items made with Primaloft. I'm tall, and the arms and body are nice and long, but not too long. Definitely won't show skin when I bend over to bike, but its too warm to wear for a serious ride, even in the coldest weather, since its heat reflective. Buy this jacket when you need to be outside when its REALLY cold.
The bronze color is halfway between true bronze and a mossy color. It weighs less than a pound and packs down as small as my rain shell. There are lots of synthetic insulation jackets available for men, but few for women, so I highly recommend this jacket!
