By aersuri from Morrow, OH on 09/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt will be perfect for my needs. I needed a shirt that would be comfortable for all day wear, durable, easy to wash, and still stylish. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a little too long, but I'm short (5'2"), so I often have that problem. I got a larger size than normal after having read all the problems with the arms being too tight (I'm short, but have strong arms), and this fits just fine.
By Sue from North Carolina on 09/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is very versatile. Can be dressed up or down. The sleeves are long, but not too long. The cut is very attractive. I would buy another one if there was another color available.
By biker chick from southwestern Colorado on 09/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The sleeves may seem "too long", but they are great for sun protection for the backs of your hands! That's the real reason I love this shirt so much. It also looks great. I do think it runs a little small. I would normally wear an 8, but I need a 10 or even a 12 in this shirt.
I have this shirt in three colors! By Sandy10 from Cape Cod, MA on 07/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Office, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt for travel, and it is one of the most useful in my wardrobe. I have worn in under a blazer, with jeans and skirts, tied as a blouse over a dress, with jewelry, with a scarf, as a cover-up for cultural reasons, over swimwear, on the boat, and more! The texture of the fabric and classic styling make this a flexible wardrobe staple.
I am 5'8" and my chest measures 36". I usually wear small or medium, and the 8 fits me perfectly. I like the classic cut and feminine shaping. I have a narrow waist and thin arms, which are the shape of this shirt. I like the looser cut for layering over tops. The fabric is a bit sheer, but a neutral bra and classic fit make this OK. The shirt washes beautifully in the sink, dries fast, and is wrinkle resistant.
Good value, nice for working outdoors By HikerGirl from Maynard, MA on 05/22/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Lightweight Cons: Short in Length, Tight in arms Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this shirt for hiking in exposed areas. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 but exchanged the shirt for an 8 because it was tight in my arms. the 8 is still a little tight in my biceps. I'm athletic but no bodybuilder, so I was a bit surprised by this. Anyway, if you aren't sure what size to go with, definitely go one larger. I do wish it hung another 2" lower so that it would clear my hip belt.Because of the length, I'm more likely to wear this shirt when expecting to be out in the sun all day than for hiking as I had initially intended.
Attractive - but design is restrictive By Pamela of the Peaks from Longmont, CO on 04/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality, Lightweight Cons: Sleeves Too Long, Tight overall fit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Active, Comfort-oriented, Outdoor enthusiast, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Attractive, good fabric and construction. However, the design restricts shoulder movement and it runs small. This shirt will not do for a fit, active woman carrying a day pack or more.
By Green from Colorado on 03/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am normally a 2. I ordered a 4 and it was still a bit small overall. It is not a casual style rather more dressy; not what I was looking for. Of course, Mountain Hardware is still one of my faves.
By Scratch from WA on 11/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a slick shirt- looks great dressed up or down. The white is on the thin side. I also bought the pink color- sorta odd- I returned that color. I like the sleeves. They're perfect for me. Guess I have long arms?
