Love the green color; lining is completely wind proof so not much needed underneath. Did have a thread run but customer service was great and a speedy exchange made

Comments:
I have to say. I bought this jacket a week ago and have gone to grab it every single day when heading out the door. I've worn it under shells, over sweaters, under down vests, around the office all day....I really don't want to take it off! I've gotten many compliments as well. I usually am a small and am 5'7" with broader shoulders and longer arms and yes, the arms are still about a 1/5" to an 1" longer than would be adequate...but honestly, it keeps me even warmer the way it is! The length is a tad short but not uncomfortable at all..about hip length. Material is durable and thick and the fleeced lining is very warm and cozy. I absolutely love this coat!!! The neck is also nice and high and fleece lined and really this thing is just toasty :)

great jacket, but runs large

Great jacket, looks fantastic, warm. BUT - order on the low end of size. The medium was big both in sleeve length and in bust. If you ordinarily wear a medium, order a small.

Not quite right.
By Internet Shopaholic from Los Angeles, CA on 11/17/2008
Pros:
Durable
Cons:
Poor Fit
Best Uses:
Bad Weather
Describe Yourself:
Casual Dresser
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels too long
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a very well constructed jacket, but the sleeves do have an odd cut. Not just the length (which is easy to fix by folding the cuff), but where the sleeves are attached. The lining is soft, but the jacket itself is on the stiff side.

Nice Design, Tight Fabric and Too Big !
By MK from Bozeman, MT on 10/09/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm
Describe Yourself:
Casual Dresser
Sizing:
Feels too large
Sleeve Length:
Feels too long
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Waaaay back in distant memory I recall Mountain Hardwear making women's jackets in sizes, like Isis: 4, 6, 8...and so on. Or at least I think they did. Unfortunately I am cursed with being in between a small and a medium with this and many other popular brands. As other reviewers comment, the sleeves are disproportionately long. But, some prefer that so you don't expose wrists when arms are extended up or out on handlebars. Anyway, I'll sadly be returning it, and back to my quest for a stylish Windpro fleece jacket I can wear about town. No doubt the S would be too tight under my armpits. Never fails. Good luck!

Ideal proportions, at last!
By in motionVerified Reviewer from Portland, OR on 08/27/2008
Pros:

Best Uses:
Bad Weather, Daily Use, Outdoor activities
Describe Yourself:
Athletic, Career, Casual, Classic
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Apparently I am the woman of strange proportions for whom this jacket was made (wide shoulders, long arms, slim torso). It is great to have a staple jacket like this fit my shoulders and arms without hanging loosely around my body. If you match this description and are looking for a great midweight jacket, your search is over!

cool jacket
By Renee the SkierVerified Reviewer from Westminster on 08/19/2008

Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Daily Use, Travel
Describe Yourself:

Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This light weight jacket has a flattering cut with a high collar and a long arm length. It looks great. But be warned, it's cut for someone with long arms having mostly an athletic build. I have very long arms, so the sleeves worked for me, having a length that hits between my wrist and fingers. I like this feature because the sleeves will keep my hands warm even if I don't wear gloves. The jacket will work for mild to cool temperatures during the summer, fall, and spring.

nice change from fleece
By Ranger Jane from Point Reyes Station, CA on 06/15/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable, Warm
Cons:
Kind of odd fitting
Best Uses:
Going Out
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Shopper, Casual, Eclectic
Sizing:
Feels too small
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This jacket is solid, very well made. Love the outer fabric. I had to send back a medium, which I usually wear in jacket size, for a small/petite (sleeves VERY long). The small is a little more fitting than I like, but the sleeve length works.

beautiful color
By Chris from Overland Park, KS on 06/02/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable, Versatile, Warm
Best Uses:
Daily Use, Going Out
Sizing:
Feels too large
Sleeve Length:
Feels too long
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The jacket is cut long in the sleeves and the size I usually wear was tight in the bust. Loved the style of the jacket...just wasn't cut the best. Regretfully can not recommend the jacket since I had to send back both the sizes I tried.
