It looks funny on me if worn outside the pant (an awkward length).

This one of the problems with shopping online. Sometimes the color isn't represented well, even with the photos provided.

However I know the current trend is to wear shirts untucked so for this it is fine.

I bought a medium, which is my normal size for Columbia clothing. Sleeves were short and overall fit was snug. I'm not a big guy. I've noticed that Mountain Hardwear seems to run a little small.

I haven't worn this shirt for much activity -- it's my cool-down shirt when I return from a long day hike, climb or backpack -- it's simple, unpretentious -- and sooo comfortable.
