No wires make it quite portable. It took a few minutes to set up but the automatic time and date settings are terrific. Also quite accurate all the time because it resets every night.

The weather station stopped working shortly after we got it and had to replace the battery in the outside sensor. It took a couple days for it to reprogram but seems to be working o.k. now.
