simple and gets the job done By Deli Lama from New Jersey on 09/23/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Easy To Configure, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of the few outdoor temperature sensors that also measures outdoor humidity and yet costs under $20. Many units measure indoor humidity with the display unit but don't have a hygrometer built into the outdoor sensor. It is amazing to see the fluctuations in humidity as night falls. This unit does not measure indoor humidity (not a problem for me since I already had several hygrometers in the house.
Super easy to install and set up

I really enjoy this product. It is the second LaCrosse Weather Station I have owned.
By Bandrews from Fort Collins, CO on 09/14/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Durable, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use it to check the temperature in my chicken coop from inside the house. They are young so we need to make sure it doesn't get too hot or cold at the early stages. Also, its great to know the humidity as this is a big cause of chickens getting sick. Works great, is always accurate if compared to weather sites.

This unit works well to get us that information indoors.
Easy- just follow their directions! By S. in Spokane from Spokane, WA on 05/31/2009 Pros: Consistent Performance, Durable, Easy To Configure, Easy To Use, Plus a Tech Phone Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading other reviews of mixed reactions to the products, I decided to order two different models of Wireless Weather Stations: 1063X and 1698N. Both set up quickly and easily. Just follow the directions, and don't try to rush the manufacturer's time suggestions. Decided to keep them both, one at home, and take the other with us in our RV.
The atomic clock took about half an hour to set itself, but didn't have to wait overnight, just set it in a window facing "Denver", as they suggested.
One of the receivers picks up both sensors, because I carefully followed their timed directions, and it works perfectly.
The most challenging step was choosing the perfect place for the sensor, finally placed it under the eaves on the north side of the house. Just remember that it has to be easy enough to reach for battery replacement.
