By always a teacher from Alexandria, IN on 09/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own several shirt jacs of different brands and this is by far the best in quality, looks, and durability. It does run about a size larger than expected but I kept it anyway because of all of its other attributes.
By Jim from Prudhoe Bay, AK on 07/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Camping, Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second one I've bought. Very durable and haven't lost any of the buttons on the first one after 2 years of use.
By Luckydawg from Upstate NY on 03/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a heavy duty shirt-jac - more jacket than shirt. I would make but one improvement: The material is too heavy for the small buttons and button holes. This should have snaps.

By IowaMommyofTwo from Lawton, IA on 01/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Camping, Outdoor Activities Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt for my husband who does a lot of outside work and he loves it! He's always saying to me that he's never owned a warmer, more durable shirt. It works great as a jacket too. The insulation is soft and warm and the exterior is very tough and washes easily (just make sure to hang dry!)
Nice Shirt Jacket, Heavier material By Bourne Vita from New York, NY on 12/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As the previous reviewer said, this is a little heavier than most Shirt-Jackets. It cannot be tucked in your pants, however, it has sufficed for me in 40 deg temperature while only wearing a T-shirt underneath. It is light enough to do outdoor chores while retaining one's mobility. The canvas material looks like it can take a beating.
HEAVY! A Jacket with buttons By SmittyNYUSA from NY USA on 11/30/2008 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Work Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Much HEAVIER than I thought it would be. More like a JACKET with buttons than a Shirt/Jack.
Heavy canvas outer. Quilted sleeve liner and poly fuzzy body liner. I'd like it better if it had a zipper.
