However, the sole is so stiff that every step is accompanied by an awful scuffing -- bad noise and irksome feeling. The slippers may limber up after a while, who knows? I'll keep them to lounge in, though, because they are so warm. So: I would recommend them with this caveat.

I kept the pair he ordered for myself and returned the one that was supposed to be for me.

I can also walk outside in them to get the mail or put out the garbage. My only complaint is that they are too big. Instead of sending them back, I just where them with socks.

It is very light and warm, and it looks cute too! Every night when I got home, I feel very happy and spoiled to change into these slippers :-)
