These, due to the added sole are stiffer, but I still go for them in the morning. I liked the look and also the name (Ram Island) as we can see Ram Island off the coast of Maine from our summer cottage. I only wish they came up alittle higher to cover my ankles when I sit down. They are too warm for sox and even turning up the "collar" they really could be a little higher for me when I am sitting. They are a bit floppy in the heel, however my heel is narrow so that is not a surprise, but I do find I'm "scuffing" more because of that. Overall the construction is good, they are lightweight and warm, not too tight so your feet won't get sweaty.

I bought a pair because of the style and brand, and was so thrilled with the fit, feel, and durability that I bought a pair for both my daughter and her husband. I haven't found any cons about them, other than that my dog wants to bury her nose in them!

I am not crazy about them, however, because they slip on the heel which is not a fault of the slippers. My feet are narrow. I elected to keep them because of the many good features and product quality.

I couldn't be happier, and this winter was extra cold. Also, since the fleece 'breathes', my feet don't get sweaty.
