Picture should include back. By Gram from Richland, WA on 10/26/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Has a lot of white on the jacket in the back bottom portion. Will be very hard to keep clean.
By Swimmer-chic from Appalachian Mountains, North Carolina on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfy, Durable, Warm, Wind Resistant Cons: Bulky, Constricts Movement Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Rainy weather living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great coat for the Sierra Trading Post price I got it for. I feel like the quality of the coat is good and the inner lining is just amazingly soft. I snuggle my face in it when I take it off to hang it up. I'm a competitive swimmer so I have broad shoulders (and I happen to have a chest, too), and this coat is about like The North Face brand in its fit. It's a little constricting around its shoulders and bust areas, and I prefer the flexibility of a Mountain Hardwear jacket. If I had tried the coat on before I bought it, I probably would have gone for a Mountain Hardwear product instead, but those are MUCH more expensive and I think that for most women (with normal shoulders!) this would be a great coat. It's warm enough (although I haven't skiied in it yet) and offers good wind resistance. I got the olive green color, which is also just really pretty. So, bottom line: I would recommend this to everyone with non-swimming shoulders, and I'm still moderately happy with it because it's better than my last coat!

Nice rain jacket, liner too small By Rain Rain Go Away from Coastal NC on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the rain jacket--light and well designed with good pockets etc. The liner I gave to my daughter--just too small with all the padding to get my arms in. And why is the liner rainproof? It is a liner for a rain jacket. Go figure. The rain jacket works better over the White Sierra flip flop reversible jacket (fleece)--that makes a good combo and fits better too, even over a sweater.
Great Winter Coat for my daughter! By Papa Dog from Bellingham, WA on 10/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was just what we needed for our daughter's cold wet school days. The liner is fluffy and warm and she likes to wear it by itself or zipped into the shell. A great deal.
By Judy from Ohio on 09/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Getting Started Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not used it yet. Planning trip out west and needed waterproof all-purpose jacket.
Looks like it will work.
Great fabric quality, bad fit By Camille from Erie, PA on 09/08/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket was very irregular. The upper body was large, but it became so narrow at the waist that I couldn't zip it. The liner jacket was so small all over I thought it was the complete wrong size. I was disappointed because I really like the fabric, design and quality of the jacket.
By Gemini from Carrboro, NC on 09/08/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took a chance after reading the other reviews. I do like this jacket and it fits pretty well. With the lining it is a snug fit but feels like it will be warm. I don't think I'll wear the liner alone- too snug, and too pastel- I wish it was the same shade as the jacket. Its super soft though. The outer shell is worth it by itself though- I really like the colors, and it fits well. The sleeves are long-ish but I like that (and they are not as long with the liner in). A great basic waterproof jacket, and I will probably wear it as a winter coat when its cold with the liner (I am in NC, not the arctic though). Overall happy, and the price is great.
