I had purchased a Lowa winter book and wanted to give these a try. I was very pleased with both.

By e-ster from Boulder, CO on 01/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Returned shoe because the edge cut into my ankle bone. However, they were otherwise VERY lightweight and comfortable--I was disappointed they didn't fit in the one area.
not enough support for walking By Mommy Hugs from Roswell, Georgia on 11/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this product for moderate everyday walking, but I find they don't have enough support in the arch or otherwise. I will wear these only ocassionally for normal, everyday activities, not exercise. If I hadn't already worn them on my walking trail I would return them. I do like the color when worn with my jeans.

Very comfortable, a little narrower than most Lowa boots.
By Heather in NC from NC on 10/27/2008 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These fit my feet poorly: they were flat, wide, and heavy. Much too clunky for trail running, and little arch support for other activities. Blue color was not appealing (very disco). I'm returning them.
