Good coat for price, but cheap zipper By smokef16 from Stoughton, WI on 11/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this coat alot, but every time I go to zip it up, the zipper hangs up. You need to get it just right, or it won't zip up. The zipper appears very cheap, so I don't expect it to last very long. I only paid [$] for it, though so don't expect years and years of service.

Returned, very disappointed.
By Woodsman from Glenshaw, PA on 11/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It looks good and fits nicely; in casual use, it's cozy for temps around mid-30s. I returned one jacket because the zipper was very hard to start. I kept second jacket even though zipper works fine despite occasional "catch" when starting. Because of unease about the zipper, I'm reserving judgment about the jacket's durability in hard use. Otherwise, it's a bargain.

Great Jacket...One Problem By Kate from Magalia, CA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a woman and bought the jacket to match one my husband had purchased. Both jackets have zippers that DO NOT function properly. We have gotten them to work by rubbing the ends and first couple of inches of zipper with wax, but it still takes lots of wiggling, pulling and persuasion to get the zipper to work. Otherwise, a fantastic jacket for inclement weather. Wish this problem hadn't come up.
This Jacket Needs a Little More "Zip" By Jim the Jogger from Magalia, CA on 11/07/2008 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My wife and I purchased two of these jackets and they both had the same problem...defective zippers; from the first time we tried them. The bottom does not line up properly, so the teeth don't mesh. Fortunately, the jacket has velcro closures also, which is what we use to hold the front together. We would have returned them, but we have to many other irons in the fire. We can always use them for running out to get the paper on an inclement day. This won't prohibit us from shopping your online store, just wish you had more items "Made in U.S.A."
