Great jacket summer rain or winter snow By biker bob from Madison WI on 03/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: All Weather, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is really like 3 jackets in one; a fully lined winter jacket; a fleece jacket for 3 season dry conditions, and a waterproof 3 season jacket (outer jacket with liner removed). The liner can be reversed so you can have the fleece or poly side against you. The tuck-away hood is always there when needed, conforms well when wearing and is not to bulky when folded into the colar. I typically wear just the outer shell and dress in layers underneath to suite the temperature. Very versatile. The fabric is relatively soft and quiet. I liked this jacket so much I bought a second one in a different color. [...]
By shadowcat_2 from Big Apple on 01/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great Jacket for a toss on during a quick trip. The layer feature is good, but wish that it didnt require contortions to get out of the liner's sleevs.
By JNN from RI on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great light weight jacket. Can't feel the wind through it at all. Has a removable shell so it can be worn as an entire different jacket during warmer weather. Water rolls right off or beads up. I love it!!
A warm coat with a few weak points By Unindited Co-conspiriting Adventurer from Pikes Peak Region of Colorado on 11/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice coat which is warmer and a bit heavier than I expected. When I went to pull my arm out of my sleeve the second or third time the loop securing the liner to the sleeve broke and other attachment loops are similarly weak. So now I carefully grasp the liner and outer shell together when taking the coat off. A little high maintenance to trade off against warm performance...
I am happy with the jacket for the price By Chuck from Ft Worth Texas on 11/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I mainly bought this for it's breathable water repelant with a hood aspects. I have had it in a light rain once- it kept me dry and I wore it washing the car once - again it kept me dry. I am down in Texas so it really hasn't been cold, but so far it has kept me warm! So far I like it!
