Stylish stable high heeled boots. By mom and volunteer from Bremerton, WA on 10/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very stylish and are comfortable to walk for a couple of hours, which is hard to say about high heeled shoes. They are stable and have an adequate two box, they do not squeeze my toes. My feet are somewhat narrow, but not enough to warrant narrow shoes. They are tight around the ankle and a little difficult to zip, and require very thin socks. Once worn they loosened up, they are still snug, but do not bother me. My ankles are not slender. All in all a nice boot have worn them several times since receiving them.
By Trendy in Comfort from NY state on 09/13/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very stylish boot that looks great casual or dressy, however the tip of the heel (on the black model with pointed heels) broke off on both sides in under two months. I have yet to find somebody who can fix this particular type of heel. I later bought the other style with the heavier heel. No problems with it, though it is essentially a different boot.

perfect for casual or dress wear By cercetrova from new jersey on 01/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High quality, Stable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You can't go wrong with La Canadienne...very well made, comfortable, and won't go out of style in a year. Fit is a little tight at first (does break in after a few wearings), and the toe box is a bit narrow, so don't plan on wearing your ragg wool hiking socks with these. It's hard to find a nice squared toe boot that's not too boxy, and these are very feminine and flattering. The heel height is perfect with dress slacks and the look is classic.
By bluestocking from Iowa on 01/15/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very stylish boot and remarkably stable. I was worried that the heel wouldn't be practical on ice and snow, but it is absolutely fine. Very sturdy and the soles aren't slippery.
The boot is hard to get on over winter-weight socks, and it feels too narrow, but it is starting to stretch a bit. It's not very warm, despite a fuzzy inner lining.
Very nice boot stylish and warm By Robin from Boulder, CO on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stylish, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect boot for winter-use for office and going out.
ok but not La Canadienne's best boot By jarkar from Denver, Co on 12/03/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: super narrow ankles. they also fit odd compared to other La Canadienne boots I have owned.
By Dzyn from windy city on 12/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Once you've had a pair of La Canadienne boots, you'll never want another brand...except maybe Aquatalia. La Canadienne boots are completely waterproof...which means that if you step in a puddle of water that's up to your ankles, your feet will not get wet. They are quite comfortable, & I walk distances in these quite frequently. Even with the heel, you'll feel stable walking in them.
By imelda2 from Jersey City, NJ on 11/24/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, My feet get cold, too narrow, Too Stiff Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Events, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot is stiff, narrow and not really that warm or comfortable. Other products from this company have been good in the past, but this is a miss.
