Short-waisted, but great quality By Chickpastor from GA on 01/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really good quality jacket, but was too short in the waist for me. I wanted more of a lightweight shell and this fit tight and was thicker than I thought. But I would recommend it as a base layer for skiing or something like that, just not on its own.

styling and functional!!!! By barbara the "barbarian" from santa fe, nm on 12/26/2007 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Hood, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Pit zips for venilating, Sleek fit, Very cool looking, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: No sleeve enclosurecuff, Sleeves a little short Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Hiking, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Hiking, Mountainbiking, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is the BEST jacket i found for function, looks, price, and fit. i've used it in fairly extreme winter conditions for downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and backcountry skiing. on the other hand, it's quite fashionable for wearing around town. it is truly breathable and waterproof. the hood fits reasonably well with or without a helmet. you need layering under it for area skiing on a really cold day (this is to be expected with a shell). the sleeves run a little short and could use some sort of enclosure i.e. velcro, elastic, or inner cuffs. otherwise, it is a great jacket for multi-use sports and casual wear.
Great deal for quality of item By Cold Wisconsin Winters from WI on 12/06/2007 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the styling and fit. Exterior feels great-wish it felt as good on the inside. The bulk of the seams from details on the arms are annoying. Not as soft on the interior as other soft shells I've had. Overall, I still like the product when worn with a great base.
