By Kelly from Kenai, AK on 10/28/2009 Cons: Irregular Fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had other shoes of this brand before and size 40 fits perfectly. I think the left shoe was mismarked. I wore it and the first day it seemed a tad bit large. But I wore them anyway and soon regretted it. By the end of the day the shoe had worn an open sore on my left ankle. Strange thing was, the right shoe fit perfectly and was comfortable throughout the day. I believe the left shoe was mismarked as I've had Josef Seibel shoes before in size 40 and they both fit perfectly. This was an unfortunate shopping experience; I ended up donating the pair to charity in hopes there may be someone out there with a left foot one size larger than their right foot.

Beautiful shoe, but runs too small By big bad feet from Tampa, FL on 10/17/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great-looking shoe, but feels way too tight and is not available in a larger size for me, so I had to return it. Also, the insert is not removable like it is in many Josef Seibel shoes, and this is a problem, as I wear orthodics and they don't fit well on top of a regular shoe insert (although the Britany is actually too small even without the orthodics). I generally love Seibel shoes; it's the only brand I'll order online, as their shoes generally fit well and are comfortable and stylish. I guess they were having a bad day with the Britany. They need to work on the heel as well, and replace it with something a little more feminine.

By Stickpond from Palmer, Alaska on 08/22/2009 Pros: Nice style, Soft leather Cons: Heel extends beyond shoe, Irregular Fit, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the color, style, and feel of the leather but when I put this shoe on I was very disappointed. The toe box was tight from the sole to the top. As I walked around the room in them I realized the off-set heel pushed my toe into the toe box. This combination also provided no arch support for me. This shoe had to go back! [...]
High Style, Quality, and Comfort Level By Calypso from San Francisco, CA on 08/05/2009 Pros: Both dressy and casual, Comfortable, Durable, No break in time, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Dress, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved these shoes so much i bought both the brown and black. They are so comfortable, even when my feet swell at the end of the day they are still easy on the foot. Worth every penny even if i paid full retail price. These will be at the forefront of my closet for three seasons out of the year, they are that versatile. Also there is no break in time required for these shoes. I wore them straight out of the box and worked all day without any discomfort. Gotta love Josef Seibel!

Stylish, comfortable, very interesting design combining several materials and textures and therefore very flexible in dressing up or down. Excellent design, especially the material into which you can slip on the shoe. Clever shoes, something I have never written about a shoe. Incredibly practical.
