Comments: If you plan to wear socks with these boots you need to get a size larger than your actual shoe size. But you really do not need socks, since they are fur-lined; leggings or stockings are sufficient.
Pretty boots with some sizing issues

Comments: Pluses: Very good-looking boots, very hardy (like a fashionable version of a work boot), warm (good for stomping through snow) Minuses: These boots really need half sizes. I'm a size 8 with narrow feet (though not narrow enough to warrant narrow-size shoes). I bought the size 9 thinking I could layer my feet with socks. The 9 was way too long, though the width was fine, confirming other reviewers who said these boots ran narrow. I then bought the size 8; they are just a tiny bit too short (my toes bump against the top a lot). I'm keeping them anyway because I figure use will stretch them out, plus they're warm without wearing multiple socks, very hardy, and very practical while being pretty and non-clunky. (My mom loves her boots, BTW.)

Comments: I wore shoes such as these when I was in high school. They were comfortable, and I didn't fall. Now I am much, much older. These are not the same as I wore in high school, but they are comfortable. I think that they do well on ice.

Comments: Forget this model if you have a wide foot. Reinforced suede toe, very stiff, no "give"... But this maker offers a range of styles and I found another pair of Bastien 8-D's that fit comfortably... so shop around... Bastiens offer great protection in tough weather... thick wool lining designed for wear with thin sock.

Comments: The comments I read said they ran narrow that is true so get at least a half size larger or a wide especially with heavy socks. They are very nice boots for the price.

Sizing:
Feels full size too small
Pros:
Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Warm
Cons:
Not enough arch support, Not enough cushion
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-oriented, Conservative
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I took the remarks of previous reviewers seriously regarding sizing. I ordered a full size larger than normal in a wide width (I'm usually a medium width). They fit well (could even be a smidgen wider)so the size is definately off. The boot is comfortable, except for the foot bed cushion and arch support. I'm getting an insert for them.

Here in Colorado, winter weather means warm boots are mandatory, and these fit the need. A great buy, these are well-made.
Buy one size up, because they run small and a tad narrow. Otherwise, I'm very pleased and I would buy this item again.
