By Horselady from Mukwonago, WI on 12/20/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Best Uses: Riding and Barn Work Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I ordered a ski sock, I really expected something thicker that would keep my feet warmer. I was very disappointed. I love Smart Wool socks, but I have yet to find a type that are truly winter socks. They feel great on my feet, but they do not keep me any warmer than any other wool sock that I can buy a lot cheaper close to home.
nice, fit well, don't slouch By lynnie from north carolina on 12/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish they were a little thicker in the foot/sole area. But I wear them for everyday winter use, so these will likely be warm enough. Bought them at a great price!!
By Lizzy Boo from Chicago, IL on 12/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Insulating Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these both for skiing and for just wearing around our very cold house. I like wool best for winter insulation and these socks are great. They are not itchy and are not too tight at the elastic, but don't fall down quickly either. They're not too bulky either.

I Love Smartwool Ski Racing Socks By AliceBK from St Louis, MO on 11/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Insulating Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After losing 125 pounds this year,I have been COLD. The Smartwool ski socks have fixed the cold leg issues. I LOVE these socks!! This is the first time I have had warmth, arch and ankle support, and they are washable. The only way they could be better for me is if they were all one color, but hey, they are ski socks. I use mine everyday. Fashion is not an issue for me.
