By Dog Agility Addict from Media, PA on 07/25/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Track Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Definitely runs small...order a size up. I did because of previous reviews. They are light, breathable, and attractive (even on my size 10 1/2 feet)
By Anonymous from GA on 07/22/2008 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't like the quality of the shoe. No arch support and very little cushioning in the sole area. Really unattractive appearance too.
pretty good; not as good as older pair By FirstC from Seattle on 07/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to get a 9.5 in these (my older Avia's were a 9, and most of my shoes are a 8.5 or 9). I was hoping they'd be as wonderful as an older (4 years) design, but they're not quite that good. There is a bit less arch support than I need; I have to lace them quite tight for my narrowish foot, but this could be because I had to go with a larger size for the length.
By Mary from Akron, OH on 07/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really liked the shoe and I dig buy a 6.5 when I wear a 6 normally. They are a bit too big so I have to wear thicker socks. I did feel like I could feel stones while walking into the gym. I would not buy this shoe as an outside shoe or to run. I will use it in the gym only.
By catnip1229 from Middleburg, VA on 07/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Fast, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Summer running, Track Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am training for my first triathlon and these are really comfortable, they breathe very well and have good support. Don't try to run on gravel roads with them though, you feel every stone! Also I have really narrow feet and I have to crank to laces to get them tight enough. Overall they are great shoes for long runs on pavement, grass or at the gym.
