Second time I have purchased these By granola girl from Lititz, PA on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: Loosens with wear, Too Stiff Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These have arch support which is what I love about these slippers. For the past two years I have worn these all the time at home and and they are still in good shape. My big toe has not worn a hole in these slippers like they did in one year with the expensive boiled wool slippers that I had. I wear a woman's size 6 shoe but the K2.5-3.5 fit fine. They are tight and stiff at first but loosen up with wear, I live in them.
By tfk from Northeastern Nevada on 11/13/2009 Pros: Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these slippers for my son. He loves them but the soles are a bit stiff. He has narrow feet and these fit very well. I can see where they would be too tight if a child had a wide foot though. They are warm and very cute. I would buy another pair.

I bought these slippers for my seven and ten year old children. They live in them. I wish I could find a pair in my size.
By acknice2 from Nantucket MA on 10/20/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: my daughter was unable to squeeze her foot into them as the height from bottom to top was ridiculously small. Had great hopes for these but a complete waste of money as I don't even know anyone who could put them on their feet.

Construction prohibits good fit By Mountain Mama from Santa Fe, NM on 10/06/2009 Pros: Cute, Durable Sole, Warm Cons: poor fit, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered two pair of these slippers for each of my girls (ages 3 and 8). I thought they were adorable and would keep my children's feet warm during our cold NM winters. I have always enjoyed good results with Acorn products, so I heeded the customer reviews regarding sizing, and ordered them a full size larger.
It turned out that, despite the larger size, they STILL did not fit properly. I couldn't understand why, especially since both girls still had plenty of toe room to grow. After some inspection, I realized that the slippers are made with virtually no room for an arch, and sizing up does not correct this problem. It must be an error in construction. The slippers are rigid with a semi-rough fleece outer, so there is no stretch to compensate for the tight fit.
My girls did not want to wear them, and when I asked them for details about why they were uncomfortable, they kept saying that they were "too tight" at the top of the slipper, despite each girl having at least 1-2 inches of extra space in the toes.
This is unfortunate because these slippers are very cute, warm, and have a durable sole for walking outside to feed the dogs or retrieve the mail.
I finally had to return the slippers, and I'm still looking for winter slippers for my girls.
Disappointing Back to Slipper By JJ the Disc Golfer from Conway, MA on 09/23/2009 Pros: Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although Acorn is a fabulous product, this slipper's back is shallow and uncomfortable. Plus, due to its stiffness, it is hard for a five year to slip into easily.
