Lack of arch support reinforces the lounging, casual aspect of the slipper so I wouldn't use them for anything else. They're comfortable and suitable for sitting at the desk or on the couch or puttering around the kitchen.

This is the only slipper sock we could find that has the non-slip sole. My son commented on how soft and comfortable the sole was. If this is the style you want, it's the best price and only kind to find.
