Walking around the house the shoe is true to its' name: "slipper" because it does just that; slips off your heal. Wearing socks with the slipper helps reduce slippage.

It feels strange, but I am keeping them because I don't want to deal w a return. I hope I'll get used to them...they definitely are snuggly warm.

The bottoms allow you to go outside the grab the newspaper and these are unusually attractive for this kind of durable slipper. Excellent value for the money. Runs a bit short so I'd go up a half size although I didn't exchange mine.
