I use them all day, and even run to the grocery and mailbox because of the nice, durable sole. Also, they don't look "bedroom" but rather like a shoe - only lots more comfortable.

These are quite warm and made sturdy enough to wear out, if you are going casual. If you are inbetween sizes I would size up unless you like a snug fit.
Get your no-stink slippers! I plan on keeping one pair at home for lounging around and another to take on camping trips/to wear outdoors. They'll be easy slip-on/off shoes so I can get in and out of the tent without having to deal with laces, etc. (and they'll be very comfortable and cozy after a long day on the trails).
My one complaint: I wish there were half sizes. I feel like the 7 is a tad too small and the 8 is a tad too big. (I usually wear a 7.5 or 8.)
