By dkg from Seattle on 01/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Believe me when I say that this sweater is huge! I would order two sizes down. I also don't like the styling of sleeve seems practically down to elbows. Beautiful construction and very soft yarns, but will be sending this back.
By Bargain shopper from California on 01/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very warm and lightweight. I ordered large and it is slightly big on me, I usually wear L/XL. But it is still very good and wearable. I can wear it to work at the office or out casually, very versatile. Price was very good for alpaca I bought it when it was on clearance sale.

By dkg from Seattle on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater is beautiful but runs very large. I had to order an entire size smaller.
I need to be taller for this length By Mimi from Raleigh, NC on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, Soft, Warm Cons: Much too long in length Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the idea of the sweater. Color, zip front, pockets, lightweight. Would be great with casual dressy or with jeans. Alas, is too long on me and I look out of proportion. It would look great on a taller person. I am 5'3".
Elegant, warm, lightweight sweater By Merryelle from Homer, AK on 12/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 5'2" tall, and this sweater fits me perfectly. Normally sleeves are way too long, but this sweater is just right in sleeve length. I like the stand-up zippered collar, it looks very classy when worn with a turtleneck shirt. The length is perfect, and the charcoal color is very versatile, whether I wear it to work or for leisure. This sweater is very warm and toasty, yet lightweight, a big plus in our frosty Alaskan winters. I like everything about this sweater (not such a common occurrence), and would recommend it highly for anyone who is not tall, long-limbed in the plus-size category.
Love this. It was too big for me. By Joan Leigh from Portland, OR on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved it. It was too big and sleeves were too long. I have a similar sweater, but this one is a beauty.
A classy, warm, stylish sweater! By China Doll from Homer, Alaska on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater is wonderful. First of all, alpaca is just terrific--lightweight and very warm. I live in Alaska, wear wool sweaters all year round and especially in the winter. This sweater is as warm as my heaviest Norwegian wool sweater, and half as heavy. The style is very classy, makes me feel elegant when wearing it. I like the zipper, which is a heavy plastic, not metal. Metal zippers scrape on my chin and this one does not. It's quite comfy when zipped completely up. I am a petite, and the sleeve length is perfect, so this sweater may be a bit short-sleeved for the longer limbed wearer. Same for the waist length. But if you're petite, it's a perfect fit and a very nice sweater.
By Pookster from Cape Coral FL on 12/17/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this because I really needed a wool sweater and you just can't find them in Florida. The knitting is loose, rather than dense, but for subtropical winter-wear it's plenty warm. The turtleneck collar is stiff, and it will run into your chin, but you can fold it down into a spread V if you don't zip it all the way up. The sleeves are baggy, making the overall effect a "relaxed fit" on top and a close fit at the waist. I have only worn it a few times but the construction looks good. The zipper is reversed from North American standards, with the traveler on the left instead of the right. Still, for the price it's a darned nice sweater.
