Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits well and (I'm told) looks good. The polyester-backed Gore-Tex is soft and very comfortable and doesn't make noise like nylon. Let's see if it's durable. Sprayway makes it in China (surprise!) but the designer is British, so the zipper is backwards (but not the snaps) and it takes getting used to. Adding to the irritation is that it has a double zipper, and I hate that, but otherwise I'm more than pleased with the jacket.
